Finca Encuentro in Berlin: Sustainability & Climate Workshop at the BVNG

Sustainability and permaculture are the foundations of La Finca Encuentro, and we are proud to have brought our knowledge all the way to Berlin. 🌱✨

We were honored to be invited by the National Sustainability Federation (BVNG) to lead a workshop on sustainability, climate change, and permaculture. Throughout the session, we explored how permaculture principles can be a key tool in reducing the risks of an even more severe climate crisis.

🌍 Climate Tipping Points & Permaculture

We analyzed today’s environmental challenges and discussed strategies based on permaculture to regenerate ecosystems, strengthen resilience, and promote a more sustainable use of resources.

🧪 Hands-on Workshops: Local Microbiology & Organic Fertilizers

We got our hands dirty with practical sessions on reproducing local microbiology – a key technique for improving soil health and naturally strengthening crops. Additionally, we crafted organic fertilizers, sharing simple and eco-friendly methods to reduce reliance on industrial products.

🧘‍♀️ Social Sustainability & Mindfulness

To close the workshop, we focused on social sustainability and personal well-being. Through guided mindfulness exercises, participants learned the importance of staying balanced while working towards a more sustainable world.

Our experience in Berlin reinforced our commitment to education and climate action. We will continue to share knowledge and collaborate with communities seeking real solutions for a greener future. 🌿💚
