Your Journey Through the Finca
We will pick you up directly at our parking lot and start with a short introductionabout us, the finca, and important safety measures to be observed during your visit.
Here you will see our huge variety of different plants and learn about the Food Forest Design and it's core idea. We introduce you to the syntropic method not only in theory, but also in direct application. If you like, you can also go on your own exploration tour here.
Between the cultivation beds, we will take time to consciously appreciate the soil beneath our feet. Using a vivid model, we will show you what lies beneath the surface and why healthy soil is the foundation of all our work. Here, you’ll learn the permaculture principles in direct application and can try them out yourself.
Now it’s time for a well-deserved tasting break. In the shade of the passion fruit vines, you can enjoy a fresh snack from our garden in the idyllic greenhouse.
You’ll get to know how they grow, why they’re not actually trees, what role they play in our system, and, with a bit of luck, our blue or pink varieties will even be ripe during your visit.
Water management is one of the biggest challenges on the Canary Islands.
During your visit, we share insights into the region’s current water issues and explain how our approach offers a more sustainable alternative.
You will see how our water is purified naturally and learn about each stage of our recycling process.
Last but not least, the tour brings you back to where it began, passing by our nature school along the way. We share our space with a multilingual kindergarten where the youngest ones can grow up closely connected to nature.
Here, sustainable living becomes part of everyday life from the very beginning.
